1. To easily seen by medical staff during pre-op
2. Be a color that shows blood so l can assess the effectiveness of my TO's placement.I recently won a competitive training final evaluation by deploying the TQ l'm reviewing here today. Properlyaddressing the simulated iniury in the field allowed my team to continue on to complete the competition with thehighest scoring points/time.

exceeded my expectations. The first thing I noticed was its durability; the materials used feel sturdy and reliable, which is crucial for a product designed to apply pressure in emergency situations.
I actually compared the CAT from North American Rescue (currently 30+ dollars each pcs) against this tourniquet to see what difference ((besides price) there is between the two. I will say that whilst the NA tourniquet may look a little cleaner, both of them are very similar in nature and performance. I stress tested both on a large PVC pipe to see if they failed prior to warping or breaking the PVC and neither disappointed.
The tourniquet's design is similar to other tourniquet brands and easy to use, even for individuals with minimal medical knowledge. The instructions provided were fairly clear and concise, ensuring proper application every time. Additionally, the Velcro straps allowed for a secure and adjustable fit around various limb sizes with almost no give.
Furthermore, the compact size of the tourniquet makes it easy to carry in a pocket, backpack, or medical bag, ensuring it's readily available when needed most. Overall, I highly recommend this Tourniquet for its quality construction, ease of use, and life-saving capabilities. It's a must-have for anyone serious about emergency preparedness and first aid.
Also last but not leastthe price is extremely competitive in comparison to other manufacturers.

I bought some of these for both my brother and myself. They're great to have on hand in case of an emergency. Of course nobody wants to experience something that requires a tourniquet and thankfully shouldn't happen often. But they're a good thing to have on hand in case the need arises. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have them. They're a well constructed material and easy to use and tighten. Can keep one in your car emergency kit, for a hunting kit or any first aid kit you keep around your home.
Sturdy and stable. Trained with it for like 20 times, it stopped my blood every time with reasonable effort, velcro still holds.
I have zero doubt related to quality and functionality of Metal Tourniquet.
